THE PROJECT
A hydrogen production facitlity including a hydrogen fillig station are being planned in Samedan. The hydrogen production will be supplied with power from the hydro electric plant in Punt Muragl.
The filling station will be connected by a pipeline to mitigate the need of truck transport. It will provide cleanest hydrogen fort rucks, busses and cars with fuelling times that are compareable to those of petrol and diesel cars. The range of hydrogen vehicles is between 400km and 600km.
Switching to hydrogen in busses and trucks opens up a large potential of emissions reduction.
